WHAT IT DOES
What changes when you pick it?
A fuel gauge appears or grows. Holding the jump spends it. The shipping table titles this card Add Rocket Shoes. Patch notes still call the system Rocket Shoes; players often say Rocket Fuel or Rocket Boots.
- Lets you keep rising after a normal jump would fall.
- Can chain several loops, then another upgrade, in one hang.
- A player guide reports the gauge refills on level-up — not an official rule.
THREE CARDS ON SCREEN
Take it or skip it?
Three cards come up. We keep one. If the pause still feels new, how it actually works is the button, then the pick — and the tips page has the four questions we ask before clicking.
Take it if…
- A normal jump already clears several rope turns.
- You can keep a safe landing until you have seen a refill work twice.
- The run is going for the Moon or a high score, not a first-learn session.
Skip it if…
- Your jump still cannot cover the current pattern.
- You have not watched the gauge refill after an upgrade on 1.0.1.
- A rope is about to break — Reinforce first.
EACH STACK
How much does one pick add?
| What we can check | What one pick does |
|---|---|
| Game information | Patch 1.0.1 confirms Rocket Shoes exist and were buggy. It does not publish fuel per pick or drain rate. |
| Player observations | Each pick supports a longer powered hold. One high-score guide says the gauge refills when you level up in the air — test that on 1.0.1 before betting the run. |
| Unknown | Fuel added per stack, drain rate, whether every refill is full, and any cap. |
Stack it after height works. Longer flight is visible; the numbers are not. Confirm the refill on 1.0.1 before committing.
PAIRS WITH
Which cards work with it?
Do not pair it to fix this
- Do not take Fuel to fix a jump that still clips the first rope — take Height.
- Do not empty the tank if you have not watched a refill succeed twice.
AFTER YOU STACK IT
What each extra copy feels like.
A short extra lift. Useful only if the jump already covers several turns.
You can start hunting a mid-air upgrade. Watch the gauge when the card resolves.
This is the community airtime engine. Keep enough fuel to bridge the next gap as later levels take longer.
