WHAT IT DOES
What changes when you pick it?
A burning rope returns to a normal state. Watch which rope changes — targeting is unpublished.
- Turns a burning rope back off.
- Can drop fire pressure when control matters more than points.
- Does not fix low height or an overcrowded set by itself.
THREE CARDS ON SCREEN
Take it or skip it?
Three cards come up. We keep one. If the pause still feels new, how it actually works is the button, then the pick — and the tips page has the four questions we ask before clicking.
Take it if…
- At least one rope is burning and that fire is causing misses or panic.
- You want the Moon more than the current multiplier.
- You can see which rope will change after the pick.
Skip it if…
- No rope is burning.
- Height or Reinforce would fix a bigger problem.
- The fire setup is stable and score is the goal.
EACH STACK
How much does one pick add?
| What we can check | What one pick does |
|---|---|
| Game information | Patch 1.0.1 confirms extinguished ropes are real game logic. Recorded play shows the card name. No targeting rule. |
| Player observations | A recovery pick when fire arrived too early, or when a Moon attempt wants the flames gone. |
| Unknown | Which rope it chooses, whether every burning rope is eligible, and how the multiplier drops. |
Not a stat. It is a state change. Repeat it only while something is still burning.
PAIRS WITH
Which cards work with it?
Ignite RopeThis card exists because Ignite can go wrong. It is the undo, not a combo.Reinforce RopeAfter you put the fire out, shield what is left.Add RopeA crowded burning set is the usual reason to take this over another score card.
Do not pair it to fix this
- Do not take Extinguish when nothing is burning.
- Do not take it on a stable score run where the multiplier is the point.
AFTER YOU STACK IT
What each extra copy feels like.
Skip it. The card does nothing useful.
This is the recovery pick. Then Reinforce and return to height.
Usually skip. The multiplier is why you ignited.
