WHAT IT DOES
What changes when you pick it?
The shipping card reads Let Go to Fast Fall. That is a control prompt, not a published drop-speed number.
- The in-game title tells you to let go to drop faster.
- The shipping table can offer it from level 8.
- It does not publish how much faster, or whether a miss still breaks a rope.
THREE CARDS ON SCREEN
Take it or skip it?
Three cards come up. We keep one. If the pause still feels new, how it actually works is the button, then the pick — and the tips page has the four questions we ask before clicking.
Take it if…
- You are overshooting the landing window, not clipping on the way up.
- Height or Fuel already makes the jump long enough that a faster drop would help.
- You can spend a few cycles learning the release without risking the last rope.
Skip it if…
- You are still learning the basic skip.
- The real problem is clearance, not staying up too long.
- A rope is about to break — take Reinforce.
EACH STACK
How much does one pick add?
| What we can check | What one pick does |
|---|---|
| Game information | The shipping table row FastFall uses the title Let Go to Fast Fall and AppearsAfterLevel 8. |
| Player observations | Not yet documented in the cited Steam guides. Treat any 'I use this to land' report as unconfirmed until more runs show it. |
| Unknown | Whether it stacks, how much faster the drop is, and whether it can slam you into a rope. |
Do not invent a drop-speed number. One copy already changes the landing; extra copies are unconfirmed.
PAIRS WITH
Which cards work with it?
Do not pair it to fix this
- Do not take Fast Fall to fix a jump that still clips the first rope — take Height.
- Do not stack it in the same stretch as a new rope and fire.
AFTER YOU STACK IT
What each extra copy feels like.
You get a new way to leave the apex. Spend a few jumps learning the release, not the next card.
Unknown. Stop if the drop starts putting you into the rope.
Useful only if you can tell hold-to-rise apart from release-to-drop.
