WHAT IT DOES
What changes when you pick it?
A rope burns and a fire multiplier can appear (official media shows x2). Watch the rope shape, not the flames.
- Puts a rope in a burning state.
- Feeds a visible score multiplier.
- Adds maintenance if a burning rope goes out or breaks.
THREE CARDS ON SCREEN
Take it or skip it?
Three cards come up. We keep one. If the pause still feels new, how it actually works is the button, then the pick — and the tips page has the four questions we ask before clicking.
Take it if…
- You are chasing score, not the Moon.
- Active ropes are protected and a lost rope can be replaced.
- Height or Fuel already keeps landings from deciding the run.
Skip it if…
- You are on the documented ending route.
- The rope set is fragile.
- You cannot replace or reinforce a loss.
EACH STACK
How much does one pick add?
| What we can check | What one pick does |
|---|---|
| Game information | Steam confirms a rope can be set on fire. Official media shows a burning rope and an x2 indicator. No formula. |
| Player observations | Score routes add fire late. The documented ending route avoids it. Patch 1.0.1 fixed extinguished-rope bugs. |
| Unknown | Exact multiplier math, which rope ignites, duration, and what happens when a burning rope breaks. |
Stack fire only after the engine is stable. Official media shows multipliers; it does not explain the math.
PAIRS WITH
Which cards work with it?
Do not pair it to fix this
- Do not ignite on the Moon route.
- Do not ignite a set you cannot replace or reinforce.
AFTER YOU STACK IT
What each extra copy feels like.
The look and the multiplier change. Retune to the rope, not the VFX.
Score routes keep stacking after the engine is safe.
If the flash causes misses, stop and stabilize — or Extinguish.
